The folks at the cannabis dispensary were able to find me just the sort of cannabis edible that suited my needs and personality.
It’s so funny that I waited all the way until I was an old guy before I tried marijuana. I’ve been retired for two years now. The transition was not an easy one initially. And there were several factors in play there. First, I wasn’t working every day the way I had been for 40 years. And then, we moved to our retirement home. Suddenly, I had nothing to do and nobody to do it with. My wife immediately thrived in our new town. When she saw me sort of getting isolated, she put me in the car and we drove to the cannabis dispensary. Starting with medical marijuana and then legalizing recreational marijuana just a few short years later, our state is progressive that way. I’ve always been a proponent of legal cannabis for very logical reason. If an adult person can go into a liquor store and buy a case of booze, why can’t that same person go into their local cannabis dispensary? Still, I had never tried cannabis products. Not even when I was in college. So I had plenty to learn. But I can’t articulate just how thankful I am that my wife made me go to that marijuana business that day. The folks at the cannabis dispensary were able to find me just the sort of cannabis edible that suited my needs and personality. It was literally like flipping a light switch with me. Almost immediately, the sativa strains helped me step right out of my funk and into my new life. Now, I’m loving retired life and all the options open to me every single day of my life.
