There is something so full circle for me about seeing Ed , my high university bestie.
It’s not a novelty by any stretch of the imagination, however more grounding of sorts.
And boy, did I ever need it. You don’t realize just how far away from your true self you can get until you do. That sounds less convoluted in my head than it reads on paper. But for sure, the fact that I was meeting my high university bestie Ed at the cannabis dispensary was a reality check indeed. However, it was the sort of reality check that has lingered with such joy and love. Neither 1 of us would have even considered using recreational marijuana back in the old mornings. My enjoyable friend Ed and I were appreciative in high university and the first two years of school! Even then with all the marijuana on campus, Ed and I chose to stick to the books and each other. So the fact that my ancient flame Ed suggested we meet at the local cannabis spot was intriguing. I hadn’t been back to the property in a long time and neither had she. But we both have aging parents so we get back there more often. Ed and I figured why not try adding some sativa to the mix to take the edge off of lunch! Well, it was a truly brilliant idea. Not only did I have the time inside the cannabis dispensary to get my mind around who I was having lunch with, a nibble on a pot brownie was the ticket, then dinner was so elegant, moving, sweet, informative and ultimately a sense of full circle for me. It was so nice. Ed and I promised that we’d meet at that local cannabis spot again in the near future. I know I’m ready for another visit.
