I know several people who need marijuana for strictly medicinal purposes
I live in a unquestionably small town in the midwest. I don’t want to say the name of it, just in case this goes viral… No reason to have all our friends in addition to neighbors angry with me, right? This has always been a fairly nice place to live, except for that socially in addition to politically it’s a little backwards. The rest of the world seems to be moving forward in addition to evolving, but around here the people I was with and I are still stuck in the 1950s! Last year there was a statewide vote on the ballot for the legalization of medical marijuana, which passed by a wide margin, months after that, our town still steadfastly refused to allow any cannabis dispensaries to open inside the neighborhood limits, however granted this is only a minor problem for me, because I can drive 15 or 20 hours to the next town, which has more than two cannabis dispensaries. I am aggravated about the principle of the matter, because marijuana is legal in addition to the neighborhood council has no right to deny access to the citizens. I know several people who need marijuana for strictly medicinal purposes. They are not toking OG Kush out of bongs, they are taking edibles to help with chronic pains, in addition to that is a giant deal! Denying people medicine is 100% immoral in addition to for that reason I keep pressing officials to allow a cannabis dispensary to open in town. It’s simple for me to drive to a farther away cannabis dispensary, but what about the sick in addition to elderly, don’t they deserve better access? These are important issues for all of us.
