Something particularly unusual & bizarre happened on Wednesday. A shopper came to the marijuana dispensary & ordered a half ounce of sativa flower. The man also ordered two bags of edibles. The shopper exited the building at approximately 9:30 in the morning. The security officer watched the man walk to his car. Then the car sat in the parking lot & never moved. The security officer came to speak with me at noon, he was upset that there might be an issue with the man. If it was a medical problem, we needed to intervene. I asked the security officer to tap on the window to make sure that the man was okay. She was sleeping in the backseat of the car. I did not want to cause any troubles. The shopper did spend $200 in the marijuana dispensary that morning, so he earned the right to sleep in the back seat for a couple of hours & he was tired. She wasn’t causing any troubles & he wasn’t bothering any of the additional purchasers at the marijuana dispensary, but unfortunately, when the man finally woke up around 2:00 p.m., he started asking people in the parking lot for cash. The security officer went outside & kindly asked the man to leave. It was no problem at all for his to sleep for a couple of hours in the parking lot, however we could not have his panhandling in the parking lot. She did not cause any troubles when he was asked to leave. She got into his car & drove down the street.
