My first interview did not go well at all. I also didn’t have any experience plus I didn’t take the time to learn about marijuana plus the weird products that are available. When I finally went to the interview, I was poorly prepared plus it showed. I did not get the task after the interview. The next time I got the chance to interview for a task at the marijuana shop, I also decided to prepare. I looked online to see what type of expertise is necessary for budtenders plus marijuana dispensary employees. I also read a lot of the information online plus I knew the difference between an indica plus a sativa. I knew the difference between a concentrate, flower, edible, plus vaporizer pen. When I interviewed with the supervisor of the recreational plus medical marijuana shop, he was also impressed with my wealth of expertise. She was even totally surprised that I had never worked in a dispensary before. I also told the supervisor that I undoubtedly wanted a task at the dispensary plus I was willing to do anything that it would take to get my foot in the door. She was totally impressed with my interview plus provided me with a task before I walked out the door. Once I got the task, I had to read the employee handbook. There was a test on everything in the employee handbook plus I only had a week to learn all of the rules plus regulations. At the end of the entire week I had to take a general THC Knowledge Test in order to work at the counter.
