When my wife and I were out west, we went on a tour of a microbrewery.
The microbrewery was working on a cannabis inspired beer.
The beer is brewed with cannabis so the flavor is strong and each one of the 12 oz glasses has 15 mg of thc. I thought the cannabis beer sounded very interesting. When we had the opportunity to try a sample, I was at the front of the line. I expected the beer to have a hint of cannabis. I regularly use recreational marijuana, so I know what the smell and flavor profile is. The cannabis infused beer did not taste anything at all like marijuana. I was very disappointed by the horrible taste of the cannabis infused beer. Some of the other people thought it was good, but I could tell there were some people that agreed with me too. It wasn’t a winner in my book. When my wife and I were getting ready to leave the tour, the guys gave us a comment card and asked us to leave tips and suggestions. I told them the truth about their cannabis infused beer. I didn’t like it and I didn’t think it tasted like cannabis. I thought they missed the mark on that one, but I loved everyone of the microbrews that we tasted and I took home a couple of 12 packs from the cold cooler. My favorite of the craft brews was a light ale with citrus and cider and a hint of Bartlett pear. I thought it was easy to drink and crisp and refreshing.
