The next morning when I got to work, my boss had a big sign in the break room saying there was a meeting at 9:00 o’clock.
I was the last person out of the break room last week and I had my backpack over my shoulder. The side pocket was sitting wide open. When I got out to the car, I could not find the joint that I had in the side pocket. I did not see that the pocket was open as wide as it was. I started freaking out, because I realized I could have lost the joint inside of the building. I calmed myself down by smoking another joint and then convincing myself that there was absolutely no way that I lost the Joint inside of the building. I knew that I didn’t put the joint in that pocket or that I lost it anywhere in the parking lot. The next morning when I got to work, my boss had a big sign in the break room saying there was a meeting at 9:00 o’clock. The meeting was due to the fact that the boss found a joint in the break room. Of course I assumed it was my joint, because I lost a joint. I had my bag in the break room and the break room is where the boss found the recreational marijuana joint. There’s no way that I will ever disclose that it’s mine and the boss cannot actually test us for drugs because all of us live in a state where medical and recreational marijuana use are legal, but just because all of us would not pass a test does not mean that all of us were necessarily under the influence of weed at work or in possession of marijuana while on the job.
